Welcome to the 2023 Hwa Chong Institution's heritage trail site! This site will introduce you to the various forefathers who contributed to the development of our school, as well as the historical importance of frequented locations in the school.
Our Forefathers
Since the school's founding over a century ago, there have been many individuals who have contributed to Hwa Chong's development. They range from members of the Chinese community in Singapore who initiated the founding of the school in 1919, to school leaders that steered Hwa Chong through various trials and tribulations.
Our Hwa Chong Tour
Hwa Chong moved into its current campus in Bukit Timah in 1925. In the many years since, a number of stories have been created, associated with places in the school still visible today.
